2024: I bred Shadow to Nadir this year in hopes to produce something similar to our beloved Siren. I am glad that I did this "safety net", because Siren ended up with a false pregnancy this year and Noir (who I was going to repeat the Nadir breeding on again) ended up unfortunately passing away in December. With all of this being said, it was a very easy decision to keep this beautiful doe, who should do remarkably well in the herd. She is sassy and spunky, has a long body with a fantastic rump, stunning rear leg angulation.. the list goes on. It was a line breeding on SGCH Sunnydale Farm J Hope AR 3*M LA EEEE 91... and it WORKED. Our name choice came easily too! I wanted to stick with a honey theme honoring Manuka Honey, Tupelo Honey, and Buckwheat honey. I also wanted to honor her late grandmother, Pinot Noir. When I found out Jarrah honey was rare and had a red tint to it, I knew it was meant to be. Quite frankly, I think this little doe is meant to be here with us, too. We are looking forward to a lovely future with Jarrah and seeing all of the wonderful things she will do for us. She performed exceptionally well in every time she entered the ring in 2024.

2025: I am in love with this doe and everything about her. She is perfect for me and my definition of what a Nigerian Dwarf should look like, despite the pudge she carries on her. She is a "tank" according to several professionals who have seen her and was bred to *B HLFM GR Seattle Sunrise for May kids. I really hope she is a stellar milking yearling!
